While the scientific and war elements might not be perfect, they are negligible if you can overlook them and focus on the engaging storyline. As someone who isn't fond of science, I found the story enjoyable. So, I highly recommend this novel for its romantic aspects rather than its world-building. Just embrace it as a work of fantasy, and the strength lies in the characters' interactions and their journey together. Give it a read!

As everyone is aware, there's a prequel to this book, and I'm eager to explore the characters' earlier adventures within its pages. However, one can never predict... unexpected plot twists, like a seemingly divine character turning out to be a rapist. And then there's the absurd legal system represented by an Omega who ends up at the main character's school – that spells trouble. To make matters worse, the MC discovers this news without any prior warning from their family. It's quite bewildering, isn't it?

Taking a deep breath, I nearly gave up at the start, but my desperate need to read kept me going. Here's the issue:

If not for this pressing need, I would've given up. The protagonist's true biological gender remains unknown, which raises some serious concerns. He's attending a military school, aspiring to become a soldier – a profession that inherently deals with life-threatening situations, both for himself and his comrades. How can he possibly accept the harsh realities of soldiering if he can't even handle the truth about his gender?

Furthermore, his school is filled with dominant individuals, putting him at risk of sexual assault if he were to accidentally skip his medication during mating season. He could inadvertently provoke violent confrontations among alphas vying for the chance to mate with him. It's crucial that he knows this.

Training outdoors, often in hazardous environments, poses another danger. Imagine if he were to experience mating season during a critical mission – the consequences could be disastrous for both himself and his team.

The idea of withholding information 'for their own good' is overused and illogical. The character has a right to know his true nature, and understanding the potential consequences of not taking his medication is vital. This trope reveals a lack of creative thought on the author's part. There are ways to reveal the truth without compromising the plot.

His mother, initially hesitant despite the assurances, had valid concerns. After all, being prescribed medication daily since the age of seven, I can empathize with the fear that comes with skipping it. At eighteen, the protagonist needs to confront these issues head-on.

In short, revealing his gender and the implications of his condition is not just necessary, but essential for his character development and the integrity of the story.

I find none of this appealing at all. If you're into Omegaverse narratives, there are countless superior options available elsewhere.

The only minor setback is the lack of strong antagonists; perhaps two plot-driven enemies推动故事发展, but they don't elicit intense hatred. Instead, their unlikability adds a subtle layer to the narrative. Surprisingly, this doesn't detract from the overall experience, thanks to the well-developed protagonists.

Set against a backdrop of a technologically advanced society, the story combines youthful love, rekindled passions, political intrigue, mecha warfare, and even hints at interstellar travel. However, space travel serves more as a plot device rather than the main focus.

In conclusion, this is a heartwarming and captivating tale. Out of sheer eagerness, I even resorted to Google Translate for the remaining chapters (luckily, the translation works quite well). I'd happily follow the English releases, and to access the original content, simply search on the translator's website, as they provide the untranslated versions too.

The author skillfully addresses issues of gender discrimination and stereotypes, particularly the unfortunate reality faced by omegas as繁殖工具, which tugs at the heartstrings.

The male lead (ML) demonstrates remarkable respect and support, even though the female protagonist (MC) may come across as unassuming in their relationship dynamics. Her character is well-rounded, and the ML doesn't push her into actions she不愿意 take, maintaining a balanced dynamic.

Misunderstandings form an integral part of the story, rather than causing frustration, they serve to deepen the plot and keep readers engaged, making one eager to turn the pages. Overall, this is a fantastic story, and it puzzles me why the ratings are so low. It deserves a higher recognition for its well-developed characters and thought-provoking themes.

Honestly, I discovered the first book of the Interstellar ABO quartet only after finishing the third one. Initially, I read it out of curiosity about the parents' story, specifically Lin Yuan and Xi Zhe, or Caesar. Now, I'm left with mixed feelings that I can hardly express. I should've known better, as I even read it despite the reviews.

While I appreciate the bond between Brian and Snow, as well as Lin Yuan's parents, I just can't connect with this particular couple. Here's a spoiler:

Lin Yuan's identity was concealed because of not wanting to upset someone and disrupt their worldview. However, the lack of consideration for his vulnerability without suppressants, potential exploitation (like Caesar), and the development of resistant alpha pheromones that would require military service is frustrating. Additionally, how could the military accept him if no omegas were allowed? There might be a reason for it, like an omega going into estrus during a conflict.

The relationship between Lin Yuan and Caesar doesn't appeal to me anymore. The third book, featuring Luo Fei (the main character from both books) and Mo Han, stands out as superior. Luo Fei is a great alpha, albeit occasionally careless, and Mo Han is more active in their story. Their marriage setup was fantastic, too.

In the third book, Luo Fei and Mo Han faced similar challenges but had a mutual love and understanding. Mo Han was in estrus, and they were in a dangerous situation, but Luo Fei refused to mark him without explicit consent. Even then, Mo Han's persistence led to a heartfelt connection.

Luo Fei and Mo Han's relationship is leagues above what we see here. Even Mo Han's parents' relationship doesn't measure up.

As for a minor spoiler, Lin Yuan's brother Ling An ends up with Brian's younger brother in the future.

I genuinely recommend starting the Interstellar ABO series with the third book, "Interstellar Marriage Guide" (untranslated; search for it on translation sites), which focuses on Lin Yuan and Caesar's first child, Luo Fei and Mo Han. The fourth book, "Film Emperor's Secret Marriage" (translated), delves into Luo Ning, the second prince, and the film emperor, and promises to be a better introduction to the series.

I abandoned it and moved on to "ABO Cadets" without realizing they belong to the same universe. Eventually, I revisited "Runaway Guide" to conclude the story.

Both novels suffer from glaring plot holes and illogical scenarios, with "Wayward Guide" being particularly problematic, as omegas are said to die without an accompanying alpha during their heat. However, what about widows or omegas with deployed partners? There's no medical solution mentioned, yet people can create omega-specific drugs at home, which stretches credibility.

I can overlook the bending of scientific principles and occasional illogical plot developments. But what truly irks me is the portrayal of sex. In the book I'm currently reading, "You've Got Mail: A Cautionary Tale," the author explicitly depicts consent and pleasure, which is refreshing. In contrast, this book leaves me uncertain about whether the omegas are willingly involved or if their reactions are involuntary. The dialogue from the alphas, such as "I won't let you off that easily" or "We're not finished after just one round," doesn't provide clarity on the matter.

As a science fiction novel, it doesn't quite hold up, especially with its complex and confusing world-building. The explanations surrounding space travel, physics, and technology could be clearer. If these aspects are your primary interest, this might not be the book for you.

The political intrigue and external conflicts don't particularly captivate me, but what I found most engaging were the portrayal of omegas. The omega resistance storyline, particularly involving Ling Yu and Rosen, stands out as one of my favorites, filled with longing and dramatic moments. Ling Yu's character adds humor, and I enjoyed the dynamics between the main four characters.

While some parts may be predictable, they are still enjoyable. Each character has a distinct personality that makes you invested in their journey. However, my main critique is the abundance of romantic pairings – almost every character ends up with someone, which can become overwhelming after a while. As a fan of Lin Yuan and Caesar, their relationship was my focus, and Ling Yu and Rosen's development was captivating from the start.

Despite this, I started to lose interest in the other pairings later on. Overall, the story is solid, delving deeper into the omega experience within a harsh society. The translation is commendable and effectively conveys the narrative. It's definitely worth reading, and I'm eagerly awaiting future translations.

A sigh escapes as I read through various opinions. It seems people often overlook that we don't all share the same viewpoint. It's crucial to respect differing perspectives and remember that it's just a work of fiction. If you're deeply passionate about physics, pursue your interest independently. This particular novel might not stand alone logically, but when combined with the author's other book, "Runaway Guide," the intended message becomes clearer. I appreciate the dedication of both the author and translator. Well done!

I really enjoy this series, but I have an issue with the author's usage of scientific terms, particularly in the realm of physics where they seem to lack proper understanding. For instance, they frequently mention light-years without grasping the concept – a light-year being the distance light travels in a year. In one chapter, they claim a support ship is stationed 10 light-years away, which implies an unrealistic response time, as it would take decades for them to see the ship they're meant to defend.

Additionally, the author frequently tosses around the idea of speeds exceeding the speed of light. It's essential to note that achieving the speed of light requires an immense amount of energy, almost infinitely so. Even if we combined the energy output of every star visible in our night sky into a single proton, it wouldn't reach the exact speed of light; it'd be extremely close but not quite there. Moreover, according to Einstein's theory, traveling faster than the speed of light would result in time travel, specifically going back in time. The concept of surpassing light speed is purely theoretical and not yet proven.

These inconsistencies can be frustrating and detract from the overall immersion in the story for me.
