"You would think that she would walk a little faster my feet hurt." Avery joked.

"Pagod na pagod? Wala ka bang balak sagutin yung mga tanong ko? Tatlong oras akong nakaupo don sa labas. Tatlong oras akong pinapak ng lamok! Where have you been for pete's sake Psalms?" Frustrated niyang tanong.

"Please, Father." she urged. "Please. What'll I do if you get sick? Then we'll have no one at all to be able to tell us what to do." Her father obediently tried to swalloe the spoonfuls. "Would it be better .. " she began.

The bar was dark and intimate with soft lounge music playing in the background.

Of course I don't like slimes. I mean who would like those blobs of goo? They aren't even cute enough to keep as pets.

Kids these days, they play a lot of pretend. For a world filled with heroes and villains, it is rare to see a child in his or her home busy studying. Children would run around with costumes and pretend fight like how their favorite heroes would. They would compete to each other under the sun. They would do the right things a hero would.

"After that she thinks that I saved her because I like her" I said

And all that glitters is gold

The story has potential but the “fighting scenes” isn’t great as it should be more formatted and descriptive at least and the grammar needs improvement.
