You gotta be kidding me?!

Just wondering why it took me so long to come across this book it really a rear gem.

My favorite story on this platform. The MC is a pure sociopath and by that I mean he will do anything in his own interest no matter the moral implications. The only thing he cares about is his daughter whom literally never grows up from being a baby during the entire story. To proove what I mean when I say sociopath is that he turned the mother of his child into a baby (wiping her memory) and gave her to a doctor to raise because she was a manipulative antlantean princess that would’ve caused many betrayals in his organisation and this is only one of the many beautifully evil things he does. 100% would recommend

Comedy/power fantasy that feels like a parody with abridged series vibes. Most of the pros are dialogue which leads to a quick read with few descriptions. A few times, the lack of dialogue tags + a character speaking twice in a row made me lose track of who was talking. But the characters have unique voices, so it never takes long to get back on track. The story is a standard video game-inspired power-based world.  In parallel, the world background and enemy design follow this theme. Fun comedy power fantasy that can give you a laugh if that's your thing. :)

Even though the concept is nothing new stil love the story, love the world design, the power progression of MC feels a bit too much like a plot armor, a little bit, but still ok. The most disappointing is MC's characterisation itself, it's too confusing, but giving MC the benefit of the doubt that he is still not and too many things going on, it is acceptable. Also, I love that unlike most of this genere where all the girls MC comes across throws themselves at him, this story is different and doesn't paint all girls like airhead bimbos. But the dissapointing this is MC's unhealthy obsession with Bran and his not so ex-girlfriend Sierra(from pre time travel) is pure pathetic, this just destroys a good story. I mean I understand that as per MC's vengeful character to dislike Bran for defeating him but his obsession with Sierra doesn't make any sense

This is a great novel. I love almost everything about it. Although there are some issues. Firstly, I am not a big fan of how the system works in this novel. Secondly, there are a few instances of extreme cringe prevalent, like using Japanese words like 'baka'. However the author has dropped using them in later chapters which has made the story much better. Another thing that sucks about this is the lack of depth to character except a few.This book has potential, now it's up to the author to decide how they wish to go about it.
