Tricked by his sinister professor, Tom got his body completely incinerated inside a faulty DIY portal. However, his soul managed to enter it and was rebirthed into a new world, Vyra. In this new life, he found himself regaining his memories only when it was too late. Trapped in the middle of a deadly forest spanning most of the wild continent, he had to learn to survive using only fragments of memories on his forests treks back on Earth.
Tom, now Lione cannot complain though. The fact that creatures in this new world are made from both organic and mechanical parts had set off his engineergasm.
