OK let's see if my understanding is right so far: ...So far mc has gone to a party and spat the dummy, stolen a family heirloom, activated it and discovered a sentient mystery. Her cat is a hand~me~down from her parents and grandfather. Mc is still innocent but that won't last much longer. MC's parents died from a plot not an accident and grandfather knows what's what but hasn't come clean to mc in order to keep her as innocent and uninvolved as possible. Mc is weak but she is about to get the stuffing knocked out of her which in turn will motivate her to become a curse slinging badass. Oz is likely to become a love interest simply because they are mutually dependent and compatible. Bff will follow mc to new digs training her in badassery along the way. Unconscious Ethan will follow Mel becoming her newest love interest. Too many Ethan's by the way ... I've counted three so far - sparing dude, fiancé dude and number 2 strongest.Adain will either become a victim or thrive depending on other factors unknown to mc but she is unlikely to meet him again until she has powered up significantly after all she is lvl 1 while he is lvl 4. They grew up together and I think she is older, making him 15 or 16, so clearly he is dealing with higher level pressure, plots, drama and horror than she realizes. She will likely hear quite a lot about him since she is living under his protection as limited as that is. Forcing her to reevaluate a bit and decide to 'help' him otherwise known as flushing his good intentions down the drain by getting very involved and realising too late just how deep the rabbit hole style cesspit actually is. Adian is likely to sacrifice himself yet again to buy her some breathing room and a way out. So ends an arc ... Leading to the next one where ...Something has happened to Mel and Adian. Oz becomes op + unlocks memory + wants a body?/builds himself one = major player enters the scene ... Any of this hitting the mark?Also the time line is going to be screwy with a lot happening in a short time in story but taking forever in real world time before we can read it
