"A massive earthquake occurred, causing an avalanche on the mountain. Didn't you sense it, Kaleb? You're such a lazybones," I shout at him, exasperated. "No, I was sound asleep. Stop nagging me," he replies, donning only a pair of loose-fitting grey sweatpants. It's bewildering how someone as attractive as him can be so annoying. "We're trapped here. There's at least 25 feet of snow blocking the cabin. Even Lily and your folks can't reach us," I inform him. "Well, if we can't escape, they can't enter, right?" he quips sarcastically. "Can you just stop being snarky for a moment? We might be stuck here indefinitely," I yell, growing frustrated. "Calm down, maybe we'll be rescued in a few hours," Kaleb乐观地说, but I know better. "Oh, really? The radio said they'll start with nearby areas first, then tackle the mountain. That could take days, Kaleb," I point out, trying to make him understand the severity. Kaleb steps closer to me, his tone turning serious. "Don't treat me like I'm clueless, Riley." "And what are you planning to do about my attitude?" I challenge, daring him to act on his words.
