Meet Valeria, a dedicated hotel receptionist facing immense personal challenges. She's grappling with the overwhelming burden of medical expenses for her sister Vanessa, who is battling leukemia. Vanessa's health has taken a turn for the worse, and a life-saving surgery is crucial for her survival. Valeria finds herself in a desperate situation, unable to afford the procedure that could save her sibling's life. Her heart heavy with sorrow, she experiences a moment of vulnerability when hotel owner Adam witnesses her distress. To his credit, Adam takes notice and extends a helping hand. However, he presents an unconventional solution - an arranged marriage for a one-year period as the condition for his financial support. This unexpected proposal leaves Valeria with a mix of emotions, torn between the dire need for aid and the personal sacrifice it entails.

I want to see a silly conversation between Yuder and Kishiar in his quarters about how he should smile more since his expressionless face seems to be scaring everyone unnecessarily. Kishiar telling him to demonstrate several smiles (failure), than asking Yuder how he would smile when he thinks of him. Yuder proceeds to show Kishiar the most pure and beautiful and warm smile ever, that leaves him stunned and speechless, and finally he puts him on his lap, hugs him and covers him with kisses under the confused but compliant gaze of Yuder.

The Author knows how to make the protagonist's actions sickening, while also making us understand her. Every person killed has a beautiful story guiding you regret their loss. While reading this I felt sick to my stomach. This is not a tale for the faint of heart. I believe the author is intentionally showing us the effects of her actions and how horrific they are. My reasoning for this is the pov changes. Everything about this book makes me sick. Unlike other villain stories there is no justification for her actions. She is not portrayed as a nice person. Sometimes I have to take breaks between chapters. 5/5 stars. Brilliant work. I am at chapter 47 so it could change, but the work right now is great.

Okay, okay. I have to say, this book is so nice. And the author did well by showing the emotions in the beginning of the book. Keep it up.
