Usually, the scene of a grown-up royal skipping through the hallways like a mischievous kid would be weird, to say the least. Even royal kids would already have an imposing demeanor.
While the pacing occasionally falters, this sci-fi gem more than compensates with its dazzling world-building, thought-provoking themes, and characters so compelling they linger long after the final chapter.
