The world was an instrument, a tool, and a force meant to be seized by man… yet, should man extend his hands into realms beyond, it would bite back. For if a king wishes to soar, he must first take flight; but if a peasant wishes to live, he must first embrace death. This person was neither king nor peasant. He was already dead, yet by the mercy—or whim—of the gods, he had been granted a second chance. Cast into a world where power reigned as king and weakness was the mark of a peasant, this boy held no ambition to soar above others or to bend them to his will.
