I am writing this review at chapter 530. The book had a very strong beginning and middle, but everything seems to have changed, the story was good when it only centered around the mc and his adventures with cool kingdom building. But after the writer decided to make the whole extraction powers public, the story seems too complicated for its own good, already the mc seems like the most important/ potentially most powerful person in the whole universe. I really wish the mc was more careful with the info he divulged. At this pace with the story decision the writer has made I really feel like the mc has to deal with gods to keep the story grounded. In a way the origin expanse and the real world are 2 different stories, on the origin expanse the mc is less public and hence he can have quiet and meaningful growth. Whereas the the real world is a dumbsterfire where mc has to deal with the whole world. Yeah the writing Quality is good but I really feel that the story was really accelerated in the real world that even super powers are attacking a 19 year old and the same 19 year old is making decisions that can change the whole universe and hence normalcy can never be achieved in it without adding serious power creep. I am just angry because I am disappointed cause if taken slower the story progression could have been better.
