As the knight stepped into the dimly lit storage room, the warm sunlight broke through, casting a mesmerizing glow of golden-orange light within. Leila's eyes widened in amazement as she noticed the prince's shadow, which was unexpectedly not that of a man, but a fierce silhouette. The dark knight gently lifted her, and she blinked, momentarily disbelieving what she saw. She wished to confirm if it was an illusion, but the prince had vanished from her view. In the old city of King's Harbor, where crossbreeds were strictly prohibited, Leila had found herself on the brink of being captured by the high commander. But fate took an unexpected turn, and a prince with an intriguing shadow appeared, saving her from that harrowing situation...

Nah it's alright mate. We all have our own preferences. transmigration novels tend to portray a hero mc or an anti hero mc which is quite unrealistic. I mean if someone has the knowledge or knows the future of a world chances of him being evil is way lot more than good. Anyways before I get side tracked maybe that's the reason why it was only about the mc since the readers might feel bad about certain characters if they get more screen time. We don't need to know more about them when they are only gonna suffer at the hands of the mc. I think it was a smart idea.
