Jeval just doesn't understand what it means to be a demon king. Won't you run out of enemies if you keep killing them? Apparently not. Why can't he launch an ambush on them instead of sitting on a throne waiting for the pesks to come to him? To show the superiority of demons and for traditions sake, apparently.
Perhaps Jeval just isn't demon king material. So it isn't much of a surprise that he gets revoked of his status soon after getting it. Leading a rebellion against himself probably wasn't a good idea either. Oh well, he'll just roll with it.
But when he realizes his secret…book stash is still in the castle, priorities change and goals are made.
This is a story about a secluded ex-demon king who, for some reason, finds rabbits adorable, going out into the world for the first time. This is a story about how perfection is broken and shattered beyond repair.
