Fairy tales are stories full of exaggerations and lies.
How can there be so many shining knights, princes and heroes ready to save you just when you need them most? In any case, how can they have such perfect timing? There can't be so many stalkers in this world.
Sometimes the princesses have to take care of and fight for themselves. Everyone has to start somewhere. If you give them some time, they may eventually become stronger than even the heroes themselves.
And occasionally, maybe the demon king isn't such a bad guy after all. He may just be a little misunderstood. Even though he may just be a little overpowered, he might be just a human like the rest of us.
