In a sudden turn of conversation, Jason blurted out, "So you fancy him, huh?" Amelia, thoroughly bewildered, stared at him, unsure of his meaning. Feeling puzzled, she replied, "Mr. Jason, I'm not exactly following your question." Taking a step back, she tried to clarify her confusion. Jason's expression hardened. "Please...stop," Amelia begged, tears welling up from a mixture of fear and distress.
