Austin exclaimed, "You're a curse!" and Agatha winced at his cutting words. "The entire land knows that," he continued, leaving her silent after his outburst.
"I wanted your sister as my mate, Luna," he said, causing Agatha's heart to ache deeply. She responded, "You'll never hold any significance to me." Clenching her fists, her heart pounded furiously in her chest. "From now on, live like you're invisible."
Hearing this, Agatha proposed, "Let's make a pact. In one year, we'll divorce, severing our bond. By then, you can wed the woman of your dreams, including the one you love. And I'll gain my freedom."
Austin questioned, "Are you aware of the gravity of mating?"
"Yes, I am," Agatha replied, nodding. "There's a possibility I might never mate again."
"Very well, if that's what you wish," he said. "But remember, it's not as though I coerced you into this agreement."
"Of course not, Your Majesty," Agatha removed her head covering, revealing her stunning face. Austin gasped in awe, his beautiful wife left him momentarily speechless. She was so breathtaking, he couldn't help but think she was an enchanting goddess standing before him.
