Warning: this is a real spoiler. Book is about 2500 chapters long. I’ve got to say...it’s like a Spanish soap opera. I read up to the 800’s a while ago. And just thinking about it, gives me a headache. The abusive Grampa who becomes a good guy after they divorce. The crazy lady who kicks the FL uterus and makes her unable to have children (supposedly), goes free. The crazy in-laws who almost kill her multiple times run rampant. And then there’s the ML, who ‘dies’ but in reality loses his memory for two years. And then suddenly remembers everyone but her and promises to marry some other woman. With his return he refuses to get rid of the other woman because he doesn’t remember his wife. The FL is like fine, let’s divorce. And he agreed. By the 800s he gets his memory back and the Fl hardly puts up a fight and then get back together like nothing. She doesn’t have any self-respect. How many times do you have to almost die for this one guy? Is it really worth it? I didn’t even get halfway through so I could hardly imagine all that’s left to this story. Just a waste of a good beginning.
