Surrounded by the weight of her late husband's grandmother's final wish, she tied the knot with him. Initially believing their union would be trouble-free, she soon found herself facing unexpected challenges. The headlines of gossip magazines were filled with tales of her husband's unfaithfulness, leaving her emotionally drained. At her wit's end, she decided to seek a divorce, which her ex-partner promptly granted. Now, however, he's knocking at her door, imploring her to reconsider, claiming that his business success depends on their marriage. It raises the question – is this another manipulation, or is he truly genuine in his need for her?

You know that feeling of emptiness after finishing a story? That feeling of attachment and pride for that story? It was lovely yet emptying. This story really made it felt like I was there watching their growth. I love how they both had that tacit understanding and how smooth their relationship was. No third parties, no misunderstanding, and no cold conversations. I love how Lei Tie loved his man and accepted him wholeheartedly, now I wish I'd find a man like that too. Of course, the quick-witted and smart wife, Qin Mian. Ah how I love his sharp tongue and his twin son. so cuuute.

Anyways, if only I could forget the whole story and reread it again. I'd love to experience the same thrill and enjoyment.

It's a fun cultivation/adventure/academy story to read. There's no overly dramatised nonsensical tragedies that the mc has to go through like suddenly some family member or the fl being kidnapped etc so you don't have to read the annoyingly overused plot devices like that. There's no real system for the mc even tho there's a system tag; actually one of the other characters in the story has a system instead of the mc lmao. It's a nice read.

It's not a top tier work like LotM or SS or the many others, but it's definitely better written than many other novels within the top 20-100 rankings currently. There's one or two things that don't make sense but it's not a big deal that would ruin the story at all (the monster species whose egg he finds early in the story has no real business being where he found it). Also, this mc is one where you can't complain about him having plot armour because the author fully embraces that the the mc has broken plot armour (high luck stat) from the beginning

Not something that I would usually read, but I found that it kept my interest peeked and I added it to my Library to continue reading.
