As he leaned closer, his voice laced with disbelief, he asked, "Why did you deceive me? You knew all along you were the woman I married seven years ago, right?" His words echoed, and I sensed the tension beneath his question. "I didn't want to become known as the one who destroyed someone's family," I explained haltingly. "The marriage was youthful and perhaps not well-considered, given how we met in that tattoo parlor when my heart was shattered."
Unbeknownst to me, I would ever reunite with my former husband, Jumy, after our impulsive nuptials. It was a chance encounter that neither of us could have foreseen. Just a reminder, there's a significant age difference between us, and this story is entirely fictional – a tale of love transcending cultural boundaries, a Black Woman Asian Man (BWAM) romance.
This was a great story. Beautifully written. Adventurous and steamy. Jax and Quinn make an awesome couple. Another one of my favorites in the Six Pack series.
