This tale starts like many others, with a slave boy that escaped and now seeks the power to never suffer in the hands of another again, with an unbalanced and cruel world where the strong rule and the weak serve, filled with natural dangers and opportunities to the ones that call themselves practitioners, the ones who seek the power of the Four.
It follows as the disgusted by the world boy, resolved to change it by fire and destruction if needed find his way into the practitioners' world in a search for true strength. Little the boy knew that his fate, or chains if you would, bounded him to so much more than just that.
