Whence the heroine “Reidah” serves as an epitome of all downtrodden women in the Arabdom. “The Other Side” hence takes its perfervid readers on a realistic journey to cognize the masked face of humanity. Apart from this, the narrative betokens the inner defective side of the protagonist herself. In short, this novella bespeaks the vehement voice of silenced women on the other side of the world.
From the storylines, one bumps into an ingenue, whose name is “Reidah”. As her small family inflicted neglect, abuse, and torture on her; she underwent a recurrent dolor. Ergo, she had to illicitly navigate with her ex-husband’s torn pants to the Capital of Fashion. To secure a decent life for her, she had to change her name to “Angela”. Everything was marvelous until she found herself ensnared in her past and bad luck. Hence, the heroine chose to withstand her phantasm with the help of her psychiatrist by writing.
