Before the Elder Archmage arrived on Adar, it was already a world of gods, men, and other beings. Adventures, rogues, mercenaries, mages of every cloth, kings, emperors, and mortals were present in every civilization, tribe, and other gatherings of humans. A barely explored world. With riches, priceless magical artifacts, and raw power enough to found and rule kingdoms and empires. Or at the very least, enable a very comfortable retirement.
These are their stories. Treasure hunts, quests, explorations, and other ventures inspired by human greed and curiosity drove them. They only need to wager their very souls.
