Seven Heroes of Bathala

During the construction of one of the largest coal-fired power plants in the Philippines, the company accidentally awoke something beneath the earth. The victims in the incident swore they heard a thunderous groan, as if a creature were disturbed from its slumber, but because of man's greed for wealth and power, the situation only got worse. Since the balance of the world is at stake, the realm of the unseen will be meddling with human affairs and fulfilling the prophecy of their clairvoyant goddess. The journey will be perilous, but will they endure the elements and the tasks? Will they answer Bathala's call to his seven heroes? Read more here! DISCLAIMER: Although the entirety of this work is based on Philippine mythology, the characters are purely the product of the author's imagination. It is a diversity of all the mythic creatures and beliefs of the ancient Filipino people before and during the era of the Spaniards. To clear up future confusion, there are various versions of the myths.
