A little child in a big world, forced to grow up fast. Abandoned by his parents, and forced into an orphanage where everyone hates him, Raize feels like life is out to get him. He cannot cultivate the spiritual arts of the ancestors of the world, and he is stuck in a mine almost all the time. But everything changes when he finds a gauntlet in the mine.
