Why do all Shonen Ai have such good ratings? Are they all that good?

I remember once reading one and didn't look at the tags. It was a very good stody until the MC slepped another dude's ass in a shower scene. Which sadly make me drop the story.

P. S: By the way, I read past the shower scene back then as I thought it was done in a joking manner. It got much worse and now I have a mental immage I don't want to think about.

I love this book as it is not only well written, but it also deals with subjects like domestic violence, and understandably this can be triggering I have found that it has been nothing but cathartic! Naomi D is a fantastic writer and I have enjoyed reading all of her books especially this one,

I love the story and the characters.. The flow of the story is very exciting. I cant help my tears flowing upon reading the chapters where Aidan is in between life and death... Their love for each other somehow an inspiring and amazing kind.. Thank you for this wonderful story, I really love it.
