Despite being adopted into the Lynds family as an orphan, Tina faced relentless torment from her own kin. Her older sister betrayed her by stealing her boyfriend, her younger sister falsely accused her of crimes, and her adoptive parents had plans to marry her off to a much older man. Feeling cornered, Tina summoned the courage to confront Samuel Langford, the most formidable figure in the imperial capital. News quickly spread that the Langfords were embracing Tina, their soon-to-be daughter-in-law, who was showered with love and attention by Mr. Langford himself.
Her ex-partner crumbled in despair, and her family members grappled with the consequences of their actions, as Samuel systematically dismantled the lives of those who had wronged Tina. As time passed, months later, Tina attempted to escape while heavily pregnant, but Mr. Langford's relentless pursuit continually brought her back. With an authoritative grip on her waist, he whispered, "Tina Lynd, you won't escape your fate forever. Not after you've become entwined with me in this way." (A Heartfelt Love Story: 1v1)
According to the summary, If ML is so nice, caring, lovely, pampers FL, and knocks down all people who bullied FL, why FL tried to run away, especially when she was preggo??
Do not read this book it ended abruptly with not real ending or resolution to anything, I guess the author ran out of ideas to to toucher the leading lady. This book is a total waste of money and one of worse books I have ever stated reading. Save yourself the headache and don’t buy this book.
