As a fierce battle rages on in the atmosphere of a planet, a warrior with a monkey tail fights off waves of soldiers beneath a hovering spaceship. From the ship, Frieza emerges creating an Energy ball, and launches it at the planet Despite his best efforts to hold it back, the warrior is overwhelmed and consumed by the attack. As the energy envelops him, he envisions his son whom he had sent off surrounded by a golden aura, as the planet explodes.
