Joey Linton deeply regrets the decision she made years ago, sacrificing everything for a secretive marriage with Zachary Gray. Faced with the return of her first love, she finds herself forced to make a drastic change, packing her bags and leaving behind their life together. Little did she know, this turn of events would lead to new heights of success.
Now, as Chloe, a highly acclaimed fashion designer, she's the talk of the town. The esteemed heiress of the Fulham fortune remains anonymous to the world. Her sharp instincts also make her a formidable investor, predicting market trends with uncanny accuracy. When fate brings her ex-husband to her wedding, he softly asks, "Can I ruin your special day?" In response, she calmly replies, "I'm not sure we have that connection anymore."
was hoping this book would be interesting but it is quite boring so far. Do not feel that I can continue reading it, too wishy washy. Will try another book
I really like this book, but I'm feeling sorry for Zachary. I wished they would soften Joey's personality up. She comes off cold. The author needs to bring them together soon and form an alliance and wrap this book up.
