Ethel, a world long shaped by those who practiced and understood the magical force known as sahir, is changing. Gone are the mages who held the world in the palm of their hands, replaced with machines and smoke. More and more people are turning away from sahir, a force only very few can truly utilize, and towards engineering. The Alden Empire, the wealthiest nation on the Lysken continent, is attempting to spearhead the revolution. Unfortunately, in their rush towards the future they've condemned a number of people to the past. The effects would serve as a catalyst for a new revolution, one of an entirely different nature.

This is my first time actually putting words to the ideas I've always had swirling in my head. As such, I can only assume its terrible. I also have no idea what punctuation is. A 4th grader will no doubt know more about commas and colons than I do. If you could please be so kind to educate me on that and really any other mistakes you notice. Hopefully by the time I've finished writing the first major arc I'll actually know how to do this whole writing thing.
