Extremely confusing. First chapter is a prologue, that’s nice we get to see how it will be. However there is no indication as to if this is a video game based world as in the Mc is playing a game, or if it is a “creatures have arrived in our world and now we have hunters to take care of the problem” world. It being the latter (creatures arrived hunter solve). Theres no real back story to the Mc other than he was the son of gifted archers and therefore he is a godly archer? And now he is wounded as he has a bad eye and hand, and the novel says that he “lost” his face. I don’t know If they mean literally or figuratively. So now he decides to quit archery for no reason since he is still a monster at it but I understand he’s depressed and not really thinking straight, but still to go straight to becoming a hunter (due note I haven’t read past the part where he wants to go to his parents grave and live in the mountains).
