The alarm was ringing incessantly which woke me up instantly. It was six in the morning and no matter whether I slept well or not, I had to get up and get ready for the day. I went into the kitchenette of the bunglow allotted to me by office and prepared a large cup of coffee for myself. I went outside with my mug to have a look at the big square shaped lawn which had a big tree in a corner from which hung a swing. I went to sit on the swing and started to appreciate the well maintained lawn. Well ! today would be my first day of the office where I have to start my journey as an Officer after undergoing a rigorous training for two years.
