Yeah, people really like to complicate things huh. Just ranking them by alphabetical numbers like you said would be much make things much easier, for both the author and the readers.
Ironically, they created a television series (Chum chun gei) based on this novel, but as it was adapted the idea from the beginning was "not to change anything in the story", so it was probably less disappointing than the novel.
the start is good but I'm already hating Dan. he got a multimillion project so? divorce? men are scum. scum like Dan needs to be treated like trash. "the woman I love is on her way to the house." jeez...I feel like resetting his brain with a slap.
