How long can one ignore the voices in their head? Nine years. To Mark, that was the limit. For most of his life, Mark White has battled relentlessly for his sanity. The voices in his head edged him closer to madness with each whisper, and the music he relied on to keep them at bay was becoming less effective. As his mental state declined, Mark immersed himself more deeply in developing a game and reflecting on his lack of romantic experiences. One night, the voices struck a powerful blow, bringing their conflict to a decisive end. Surprisingly, Mark emerged victorious from this battle, but at a significant cost. The voices may have vanished, but they were replaced by a visual hallucination: a character from his game, Maids VS Apocalypse. Unbeknownst to him, the real apocalypse was already approaching.
