He used her, he was a weak ML, he had his strength and yes he made things a whole lot better when he came back, but subsequently he helped LZ destroy herself (I know all the fault is not to layed at his feet), he knew the pangs of unrequited love and the pains of waiting and really choose not to cut of the thread joining them together and for that I detest this character flaw in him.
