In a loud voice, Neo exclaimed, "I didn't do it!" He struggled futilely against the strong grasp of the two burly police officers. "Better keep quiet," one of them warned, pulling him out of the building while showing skepticism. "How can he still claim innocence after all this?" the other officer muttered in disbelief. "Yeah, something's not right here," the first officer agreed. As they dragged Neo through the small gathering outside the house, his frown deepened. Inside his head, he muttered, "If she had just listened to me and not tried to be clever, none of this would've come to this."
