The problem I have with this novel is that everything is too hunky-dory for the MC. He's handsome, talented, rich AF and has a rich untalented starkid girlfriend. There's hardly any room for growth, it's a wish-fulfilment story. Everyone loves an underdog story. Perhaps, if he started out as a failure or as the struggling son of a celebrated cricketer, the readers would root for him more. There's no suspense or plot that leaves you nail biting, every chapter you know the MC's going to win like a Boss. Not telling you how you should write, I don't have that authority. There are hardly any novels on this platform on cricket, and I was excited when I found this.
