I honestly thought that the author did a good job with power progression resets. I feel like a lot of authors bungle the power transition, and the story gets old. I found myself entertained.  I have read up to 1270, and I plan on continuing. I also really appreciated a non harem or food based read. For an over saturated genre, this was really worth reading.
