A true hero protects people regardless of their species or race, as long as they are innocent. You would think that living a previous life where he had regrets would make him change but no, only in some things. Furthermore, the guy unnecessarily hides his true power with the excuse of making his companions grow and not depend on him, when he could take them to more complicated places and better help them level up, but no, there always has to be the plot. of the protagonist hiding his power, it is a requirement and obligation of the authors for this type of novels.
