A group of children captured by an underground society of mages. A core of unknown origin is forced into their bodies changing their very existence. They are no longer simply human, they are something more, something different. They escape their captors to find themselves in a world they know little about, with no allies except each other. So they strive to make more allies, to become strong enough to protect themselves from whatever devious evil hides in the shadows. Their legend starts with a few simple choices, the resulting history they create in the wake of their passing however, it is far from simple.
