In a last bid to find a way to relieve the stress of work that was slowly killing him, Mardel enters the world of virtual reality gaming. Hoping to create a refuge independent of the rest of the world he embarks on a quest to become self reliant. Unfortunately, the A.I.s that run Horvat's World may have their own plans for him.
