The world had begun looping and most people were oblivious to this fact. As it turned out, exactly 998 of every 1000 people were oblivious, and this general lack of awareness was, in fact, the problem. Hater noticed, even as he was stuck in the loop, but it no longer mattered -- the simulation was shutting down, and entropy was being inexorably drained from the world. With just 20 minutes left until the end, what will he do? Allow the world to meet its silent demise, or reset the world into a role playing game for the entertainment of some unknown overlords?
