She gave a sly smile, then questioned, "Do you enjoy that, my dear companion?" Despite her small nickname, I couldn't muster any annoyance; instead, I replied, "Yes...," barely managing a breath before she licked me again. Teasingly, she said, "Ask nicely, my little friend." In response, I whispered, "Please, Lola." Instantly, she wrapped her lips around the tip, drawing me deeper into her warm embrace until I felt the edge of her throat. "I-I'm about to climax," I groaned, feeling my control slipping away. She pulled back, shifting my arousal against her soft, flawless skin. As I moved gently, my arousal coated her. Lola, an omega belonging to the Red Dagger pack, was discovered abandoned as a baby in the wilderness. Her striking appearance – curvy figure, golden hair, and vivid green eyes – contrasted starkly with the rest of her wolf pack, earning her an outsider's treatment. She eagerly awaited her eighteenth birthday, when she would gain her wolf form and escape the pack. However, she faced ongoing battles to control her temper at school, knowing that one final year lay ahead. What if, one day, her patience snapped? As the narrative unfolded, she would encounter those captivated by her, Lycan princes among them, who sought her heart. Lola had never desired a mate, wounded by past betrayals, making it difficult for her to trust. Yet, would she allow herself to open up to love? And when her wolf's unique abilities were revealed, would she find happiness with a chosen partner, or would darkness consume her fate?

Good original book. Finished it in just a few days. The middle drags a bit but it’s worth pushing through.

based on the book title, this title  kois more fitted to Chris situation even when his part of the story is short. Chris is more of a man than the Lycan twins combined who cannot accept the rejection of their “act first without thinking” fated mate.
