I heard the shower stop – wow, what was that, a thirty-second shower? – and the sound of water dripping as the boy dried himself off. I sighed, turning my back away from the door so I wouldn't see him come out. It's not like he would care, seeing me on the floor like this. I could tell that much from his dark, cold eyes. I shivered at the memory of them, and buried my head under the covers, my teeth chattering slightly. Damn, it was so frickencold.
