The kingdom of Mozz has declared Waber an illegal drug and heavy handed prohibition is put in place. Humans and Voxxes are at an unsteady peace, their perspective of the drug at odds with each other.
Tava's parents were Waber growers. She liked helping them grow the plant and loved to smell its lovely white flowers. How could anyone hate such a pretty flower? It made people go crazy, but that wasn't the flower's fault. It was a flower that wanted to grow. Tava was like Waber and that she wanted to live a happy life.
Life was happy. Until her parents were arrested.
Taken as a ward of the state, Tava finds she's been uprooted like Waber come harvest time. How can an innocent young Voxx, blown by the whims of the Fates and the aroma of flowers, reunite her family and fix her shattered life?
