Downfall of the nanite hero

This is an older work (2013) from Mad Snail that story checks off all the cliche boxes. There is soul transmigration, fallen genius young master that is considered trash, clan and regional fighting competitions, pig eating tiger, mysterious clan sister love interest with a powerful background that leaves later on, female mutated beast sidekick, loli sidekick, very high likelihood of harem, MC becomes an alchemist, auctions, poor decision making by MC, and repeating plot armor.Overall, there's nothing really special about this story, but it's also not entirely trash also. I'm up to ch ~300 raw and will probably continue reading, but may skim though dull/repetitive parts.

I really enjoy this novel. Our protagonist has transmigrated into the body of a "rich young master". The previous tenet was a typical loser rich young master however the new soul/personality is intelligent, knowledgeable, and determined that he won't become a stepping stone for any MC or Hero that comes along. This story is about how he works hard to become strong, respected, and avoid being the bad guy. It is fun watching he get paranoid about meeting an MC/Hero and making plans to both prevent scenarios where he would be in conflict with an MC and to steal their heaven sent opportunities to keep them from getting strong enough to cause trouble. My biggest and only real complaint is that the updates are VERY slow. I don't want to spoil the fun of reading this so I won't give any more details. I highly recommend this if you like interesting intelligent amusing fun good-guy protagonists. I almost forgot to mention that he is rich and he knows it and he is not afraid use it.

Writing Quality - 5 stars | Very good writing quality considering the fact that the author isn't even a native English speaker. To be honest, most of the time the only errors are when he uses words that aren't as impactful as others with the same meaning.Stability of Updates - 5 stars | Would give an even higher if allowed. That's all I have to say about it because there is a minimum of 2 chapters a day (of good quality) and up to 7-8.Story Development - 4 stars | I would have given a 5 star for this section if the MC wasn't such a dumb*ss sometimes. He acts very stupid and is always headstrong in what he wants to do.Character Design - 4 stars | Well designed characters, regardless if they are side characters or just onlookers. The author accurately portrays the actual human behavior unlike most cultivation novels.World Background - 3 stars | Cultivation is everything in this novel but the rankings aren't defined in terms of strength. Most of the time it is just like 'Ohh I got more Qi!' or something like that. It doesn't even define the proper amount.Overall: What can I say? It's an amazing novel which I like to read. I love novels that have any type of cultivation in them however a lot of them just screw up the systems by adding 20 different levels every time the MC breaks through. I'm just pointing out what needs to be improved on and the strong points of this novel; no bashing here.
