Worth a read for the world building. Had its ups and downs like any story and the conclusion was kinda boring, but I had a clear picture in my head of the world the entire time.

Is there a book where the ending isn't rushed?

Agree the ending look a bit rush but I think it was better since this story was about our old stone age era not some kinda of op mc to become god and it was make sense too. This novel development about how our ancestors survive before our tech development.

im already on 700ish so i can say the cover is misleading, his bff is a wolf and bird, disappointingly not a crocodile

and mc doesn't use a spear
