It's way late, but I'm officially announcing this project dropped. I may or may not revisit it later, I do like a lot of aspects, but I think I was trying to make it too complicated.
Book 1 of The Dove and the Raven
Spies. Thieves. Assassins. Twin slaves since the death of their mother. They were purchased by a nobleman with his own agendas. Beaten and brutalized he remade them into cold monsters to do what he needed done. But they are not what he thinks they are, and he has no idea that they cannot be broke as long as the other lives. They have agendas of their own.
Even as the world is literally falling apart around them, the only thing they care about beyond each other is their freedom. And they will get it one way or another. Gods and like be damned.
**Updates are somewhat irregular but I will try my best to get at least one chapter up each weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. I had hoped to be more often, but weekdays are proving to be a challenge for me to write.
