As he gazed intently at me, he delicately licked his lips, savoring the taste of my presence like a luscious dessert. It took immense self-control not to respond by pulling him closer. He nonchalantly asked, "Do you make such noises for your mate as well?"
When Alpha Arnold, the dominant ruler of Silvercrest, heard about the captivating young woman approaching maturity within his territory, he promptly claimed her for himself, intending to bring her to the Crescent Valley. However, he was unexpectedly captivated by her beauty and realized he wanted her not just as a mate but also as his future Luna. He decided to wait until her 18th birthday, confident it would seal their bond.
Ethan, Arnold's vengeful cousin, known for his decade-long reign of terror due to a curse, returned to Crescent Valley as the most formidable wolf in Silvercrest. Upon discovering that the girl destined to be Arnold's Queen was his own mate, tensions escalated between the two rivals, as Ethan refused to let Arnold have what he believed rightfully belonged to him – Layla and the throne.
Little did they all know, Layla was an unsuspecting witch, destined to bring upheaval to their realm once she reached adulthood. Even Layla herself remained unaware of her true identity and its潜在 consequences.
All in all the book is okay. The story is interesting but the language could be better- it is simple and the book is missing some language complexity. Otherwise I would recommend it.
