Ren is a cripple who is spoiled by her overprotective father, who also happens to be the chief programmer of the first VRMMORPG, Black Storm. Black Storm is the first and only Virtual Reality game of it's kind, and Ren can manipulate the system perfectly. Well... she doesn't take /too/ much advantage of that. But anyways!
