Lily, her face drenched in blood and tears, pleaded desperately, "Please... don't kill me," as the massive wolf loomed over her. "I'll give you anything you desire... money, anything!" she cried out through sobs.
The giant wolf observed her for a few moments before swiftly lifting her overturned car from the ditch and setting it back on the road. But the moment the car regained traction, Lily frantically turned the key, speeding away, leaving a cloud of dust in her wake. She nervously glanced between the road ahead and the rearview mirror, terrified that the wolf wouldn't let her go.
It seemed like he was closing in, mere seconds away from her capture. She pushed her car to its limits, tears streaming down her face, praying for salvation. Suddenly, the road curved unexpectedly, catching her off guard. In a desperate attempt, she swerved off the road and collided with a tree.
The thumping paws of the Big Wolf echoed even as death felt imminent. Despite her weakened state, she still heard his relentless pursuit. "Moon goddess, help me!" she whispered silently, tasting the blood trickling from her injuries. Just as darkness began to claim her vision, she saw something rush towards her – was this the end?
Good story, light read. Relationship with brother should have been fleshed out a lot more, as he was pretty much a non entity throughout the story, unfortunately.
Nonetheless, still had an enjoyable read
