As an orphan in Hollowstone, Xaren never expected that he'd awaken as a transcendent. A group of people gifted with abilities to protect the Sun city from the encroaching shadows. However, he awakens and is thrusted into the Dark lands to awaken fully, find his father and to unlock the secrets of the fallen, merged dimensions.
This book passed the vibe check on all sides, suspense, dark, steamy, excellent writing, compelling storyline, perfects twists to keep you glued till the end, etc.
The story is good but has some bad parts. Sometimes the characters names are incorrect. Also some of the Russian is nothing translated but besides that I read it in one sitting.
